The sensory component of experiences is as real and important as the thoughts, emotions, and memories of an experience, but it is more often missed and unresolved; this results in residual triggers and physiologic loading. This course seeks to teach you how to de-trigger, de-tangle and strengthen your connection with your body and its healing and integrative impulses.
The skills and principles learned through this approach will help people physiologically integrate their own experiences and also those who want to learn these tools because of their responsibilities for others, professionally or personally.
Those who have taken the course previously also have an auditing option during registration.
The course has three components: Live group sessions (high priority), personal practice, and course content.
Course content will be unlocked following each initial live group session. The video recordings are shorter-format instruction that will provide you with material to review and supplement your learning. All live group sessions are recorded and will also be accessible in your course throughout the time this cohort is working through. There may be additional written course material and quizzes for your own personal review.
Personal practice is key! Devote time to practicing and gaining experience with the material you are learning. Around 45 minutes per week (5 mins per day or 15 minutes each three times per week) is recommended. Your experience, questions, and observations while going through the process personally will be important and valuable.
Questions may be asked and answered during the course in the forum on the community site as well as during live group sessions.
See the Course Outline below for more information about what to expect.

Also known as Organ Physiology and Real Autonomic Responses. This week you will learn how your body, which has been a part of every experience you have ever had, is giving very important signals that are often overlooked and may accumulate if unresolved or stuck. We will talk about honesty and humility as key components of the decompression and reintegration process. We will highlight how important it is to not rush, label, dissociate from, analyze or judge your body's real autonomic responses. Attend one live group session, then use the Foundation 1 course content videos and quiz at your pace to review and supplement your personal experience.
This week is focused on the environment in which this decompression and reintegration process flourishes. You will learn how to find proper intensity and "soft focus" for being successful in noticing your body's often-overlooked or dismissed signals. This week you will go deeper into learning to notice what happens when sensory compression shows up: rapid eye blinking, changes in breathing, visceral reactions, etc. Concepts such as noticing baseline, intentionally connecting, and clean space will be explained. The process of activating/naming, release/clean space, and noticing the response will be demonstrated and practiced. Attend one live group session, then use the Foundation 2 course content videos and quiz at your pace to review and supplement your personal practice.
In the third week the focus will be on putting together the basic elements, moving between the conceptual and the experiential. The emphasis will be on the importance of noticing what happens and where you feel that in your body. The discipline of noticing the clues will be practiced as well as how to connect with your body for reintegration - this is an important aspect of whole-person healing where things have been dissociated, stuck, triggered, or denied. We will touch on navigating common pitfalls and things that will be discussed in more detail during the upcoming application sessions. Attend one live group session, then use the Foundation 3 course content videos and quiz at your pace to review and supplement your personal experience.
In the final foundation week we will be strengthening your experience with this approach to sensory decompression and reintegration. Your mind and body working together with verbal honesty and physical connection will create the scaffolding for healing (making whole). The emphasis on the importance of trusting and noticing what your body is signaling (the sensory component) will again be highlighted as it shows up in different areas of your life as diverse as beliefs, goals, addictions, physical injuries, personality, intense experiences, etc. We will stress the importance and humility of "Where do you feel that?" and how it leads to putting the puzzle together through reintegration. Attend one live group session, then use the Foundation 4 course content videos and quiz at your own pace to review and supplement your personal practice.
Application 2 - Your Body Remembers - Scar Tissue, Surgical, and Injuries
Application 3 - Global and Personality Patterns
Application 4 - Resistance, Avoidance, and other Defensive Patterns
Application 5 - Visceral Beliefs and Addictions
All application sessions will be helpful to you, whether you believe they apply to you specifically or not. Plan to attend the live group sessions if possible and you will find it of benefit to strengthening your understanding and experience with sensory decompression and reintegration. These weeks are also very valuable in the live group sessions community context. Previous participants have noticed these weeks reinforcing their understanding, practice, and appreciation for healing happening in themselves and others.
1) Decide if this course and the timing are right for you. See the Checklist for Deciding.
2) Purchase and register for the course and mark your calendar for the live group sessions you will attend.
3) Suggested: If you do not have one, purchase a trigger-point tool (such as the TheraCane Max or a similar product) for use during and after the course. These cost around $35. International class members may find a different product is cheaper.
4) The course content will be unlocked each week after the live group session. Work through the material at an intentional, digestible pace each week, taking time for personal practice.
This course costs $160.
It is a bundle of the Sensory Decompression and Reintegration Course and Live Group Sessions.
Previous participants who desire may re-join the live group sessions for $20. Select the audit option during registration.

People with problems that can't seem to resolve or that don't make sense.
Previous participants who want to strengthen their conceptual and experiential understanding.
Anyone!
*If you are not able to attend the live group sessions as scheduled, please do not register at this time. If you want to know when another Course is available, please join the mailing list.
What if I sign up but can't attend all of the sessions?
If you know you cannot commit or devote time to these live group sessions, course content video instruction and the time (recommended around 45 minutes per week) for practicing, we recommend that you do not take the course (see the Checklist for Deciding). Plan to attend all of the new-content live group sessions if possible. See the scheduled dates above. If you know you will miss one or two but feel confident in your commitment, then use the content videos to review the material from that week.
What do I do if I miss a live group session?
We understand that important things come up, including emergencies. However, if you know that you cannot attend the live sessions (remember, you have two session options each week), please do not take the course at this time. The recordings of each live group session will be available during this cohort in your course content.
What if I didn't watch one or more of the course content videos during the week?
You will have the videos throughout the month and afterward to review at anytime. They are helpful and intentionally released at a dripped pace to assist you, however the priorities are the live group sessions and your personal practice time.
What if I didn't practice the process/techniques during the week?
This process works well but it is like a muscle. If you don't use it, it won't grow stronger, and you won't identify your personal pitfalls or impulses. Things won't work until you practice and utilize them. Additionally, you may gain a cognitive understanding of some things without any experiential value or benefit.
Can I attend both the Thursday and the Saturday live group sessions?
You may attend both live group sessions if it is helpful to you. We ask that you exercise restraint in your questions if you are attending a second group so that others may also have the opportunity to speak.
What if I don't have a trigger-point tool?
Well, you'll have a harder time getting to hard-to-reach spots on your back and applying the process to myofascial contexts. But it will be okay, you can get by without one. It is strongly suggested to have one for this particular course but not required.
Where do I find the trigger-point tool? How much does it cost?
Look for something like the TheraCane Max (it can be found on Amazon) or another similar product. They cost around $35. International class members may find a different product is cheaper.
What should I do if multiple family members are interested?
One registration is sufficient if desired, but you would need to share log-in information. You can attend the same or different live group sessions. You may want to consider purchasing a trigger-point tool for each person, though it is also possible to share and that's up to you. You may also register separately if desired.
I don't understand the material?
There can be a learning curve with any new material. Attend the live group sessions, watch the course content videos, and feel free to submit any questions you have in the group forum. Many questions will be answered during the live group sessions and instructional videos, so lean on those first. We are here to help and as you gain experience with the process, you will gain confidence. We welcome all questions.
Why do I have to practice?
We could do a mini-course to answer to this question! We want you to receive real value and benefit from this material. A cognitive approach to understanding will not be enough for integration as a whole person, and the whole-person integration is the experience by which you will begin to actually see encouraging growth, results, and change. Muscles are worked to grow stronger, and the more experience you gain in the appropriate context, the more you will understand and know what is working for you, and develop an internal (intuitive) sense of what works.
Will this material always be available to me once I have registered for this course?
Your access is guaranteed during the course and for four weeks after, so that you can use all the content videos to review as desired during the course. The primary material is intended to stay consistent across time, but no content is 100% guaranteed forever, and you should primarily work to internalize material as you are taking the course by practicing, taking notes, and attending the live sessions.
Will my personal issues resolve with this approach?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The tools, insights and experience gained during the process may be sufficient for certain issues to resolve or allow you to know what direction to take with resources available to you locally. Additionally, if necessary, you could consider one-on-one work , future courses and Community Groups. Things do not always resolve immediately but you should be able to tell if you are on the right track and making healthy progress. Contact us via Consulting if you have questions.
I have personal questions?
Please feel free to schedule a Consult after completing the course.
Does my camera have to be on during the Zoom live group session?
No, your camera does not need to be on.
Are there any prerequisites for taking this course?
No prerequisites. This course is for anyone.
What if the cost of this course is out of my reach?
Please go to our Checklist and navigate through the provided material. If, after walking through those questions personally, you feel that this course is something you want to commit to at this time, we can provide help or reduced cost if that is needed. See the Course FAQs above for instructions.
Is this group therapy or counseling?
No, it's not group therapy or counseling. It is learning in a group setting. You can learn more about our approach on the Checklist page, which has information about how to decide if this is right for you at this time and what we intend to provide with the course content and live group sessions.
If I have a group of people who are interested in this, can we request a private class/group?
Yes. Contact us and we will be happy to work with you or to answer questions. Typically this can be done with a 2-3 months notice and we can arrange private live sessions either online or in-person. We do ask that at least one person arranging the group have already experienced at least one Course or 1:1 Client work so there is a basic understanding of the process and so you are confident it is of proven value to yourself before inviting others. We strongly prefer internal referrals because we want our community to have real, personal experience with the process, a high-utilization rate, clarity, and known value.
Do you accept referrals from other professionals?
Not until the professional has personal experience with the process and it has known value to them. Please take a Course if this applies to you. You are welcome to reach out with questions but are most likely to be encouraged to take a basic course and then to discuss referrals based on that experience.
Can I take this course more than once without having to purchase it again?
The primary course content will remain available to you as long as it continues in the Coalesco Resources. You can register and purchase access at a reduced rate to the "Audit - Live Group Sessions Only" when they are offered in the future if you desire to do that portion of the course again. We ask that previous participants attending live group sessions use restraint so new participants who are interacting with the concepts for the first time have an opportunity to speak, ask questions, and give examples of their experience. Your input and responses will also at times be very valuable to the beginners!
Can I purchase this course as a gift for someone? Or may I help to cover the cost for someone who cannot cover their own course cost at this time?
Yes. If you are also taking the course, then complete your own registration and then a second registration with the email address of the person you are gifting it to. If only for them, simply complete one registration, but direct it to their email during the checkout process.
What if I have other questions?
